Item Boys of Bolllywood

A new era seems to have dawned upon the Hindi film industry as more and more men have started grooving to the so-called ‘item songs’ which have, for long, been ruled by women.

With major Bollywood actors jumping in at the prospect of performing in an item number, no one seems to want a Munni or a Sheila anymore.

Aamir Khan

The actor is the latest and probably the hottest item boy in the list. He appears in a funky retro look in the track I Hate You from the film ‘Delhi Belly’. Aamir’s look and his moves have been heavily inspired by the Mithun and Amitabh Bachchan dance tracks of the 70s. The item number is cool, hilarious, and crass; all at the same time.

Salman Khan

Salman Khan has shown that nothing compares to him when it comes to performing in dance numbers. He has constantly created waves with his dance performances in films like ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Ready’. He also jived to an item song in the film ‘Tees Maar Khan’ alongside Akshay Kumar and ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Ranbir Kapoor

Relatively a newcomer for the senior actors in the list, Ranbir Kapoor already has an item number to his credit. The actor has donned his father’s look from the film ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ for his item song in the film ‘Chillar Party’ which, co-incidentally, is Katrina Kaif’s ex-boyfriend Salman Khan’s first production

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has quite a number of item numbers to his credit. In fact, he can be said to be the first item boy in Bollywood. His Dard-e-Disco was quite a rage as was Ishq Kamina. His latest item number was for his own home production ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ which generated more buzz than the movie itself.

Hrithik Roshan

Despite being considered the best dancer in the industry, Hrithik Roshan has only one item number to his name. Hrithik put on his dancing shoes for his home production ‘Krazzy 4’ in which even SRK had performed an item number.

Abhishek Bachchan

Last, and surely not in the least, is AB’s baby and the father or of Ash’s would be baby, Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek showed his hotness quotient in the song ‘One Love’ from the movie ‘Rakht’. The song became an anthem for the youth and also made Abhishek Bachchan a style icon in his own right

Epekuen - The Lost City of Argentina

Epekuen
is a lost city in Argentina. Its construction began in 1920 on the shore of the lagoon hot springs, and it was intended for the tourist paradise of rest. Now Epekuena not on any map, and none of the tourist trail, since it was completely destroyed by flood; and wiped off the face of the earth.

This is another proof of how magnificent force of nature.

Honeymooners might be best to avoid hiring a car in Eboli, just south of Naples. Kissing in a moving vehicle here can carry a fine of up to €500.

08. Capri, Italy

Locals in Capri, northern Italy, must value their peace and quiet – a couple were arrested recently for wearing excessively noisy flip-flops, following the introduction of a ban on ‘noisy footwear’.

09. Alabama, USA

The Southern American state has a quite superfluous law in place which states that it’s illegal to be blindfolded while driving a vehicle.

10. Dubai, UAE

Dubai’s luxurious resorts and stunning beaches may seem like the ideal place to spend a romantic holiday, but don’t get too affectionate – kissing in public here is illegal, and many tourists have fallen foul of this law in recent years.
